The government has assured Kenyans that the vaccines to be used in the forthcoming nationwide livestock vaccination exercise have been produced locally by the Kenya Veterinary Vaccines Production Institute (KEVEVAPI). The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has repossessed prime public land worth Sh300 million, which had been grabbed in Kisumu county. The commission’s Spokesperson Eric Ngumbi said the exercise conducted over the last two months follows a successful civil litigation process, which the agency took up on behalf of the affected government institutions. The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has hit the one trillion mark after collecting Sh1.005 trillion as of 30th November 2024. It was joy for the family of Daniel Wanyeki, who was sentenced to life imprisonment after his two daughters framed him for defiling them, when he was finally freed after 17 years, following a successful appeal.
