Freshworks in Africa expansion plans

Freshworks, a leading provider of cloud-based business software, plans to substantially increase its commitment with specific investments in marketing, sales and partner resources to better serve its customers in the region.

MediaTek unveils new smartphone chipset

MediaTek has announced the launch of the Helio P22, the latest addition to the Helio family of powerful and power-efficient chips for the mid-market. With Helio P22, MediaTek brings high-end features to mid-tier devices.

MediaTek Helio P22 – which follows the successful launch of the P60 chipset earlier this year – is the first to bring the 12nm manufacturing process to the mid-range mobile segment. With P22, MediaTek offers the benefits of AI-accelerated experiences, brilliant photography and reliable, high-speed connectivity to affordably priced devices, expanding the “new premium” market.

Takaful insurance awards customers

Takaful Insurance of Africa (TIA) recently celebrated its customers through an initiative dubbed “Customer Appreciation Awards week” that saw the insurer’s most loyal customers and best supporters since 2011, including Transnep insurance brokers, First Community Bank and Towfiq Kenya feted. The Takaful concept is based on the principles of togetherness, co-operation and mutual solidarity for all. Takaful is based and operated on an ethical and moral foundation that intends to improve societal welfare and avoids prohibited activities involving exploitative interest.
